Upcoming Events & Announcements
Seder Meal: On Thursday, April 17th (Maundy Thursday) , we will have a symbolic representation (not full meal) of the Passover Meal that Jesus celebrated with His disciples in the Upper Room. This meal is where Jesus instituted communion.
"Seven Last Words", on Friday , April 18th (Good Friday), starting at noon, Pastor Frank and other pastors will share messages at Christ Family Meetinghouse (Chicora) on the words that Jesus spoke on the cross at Calvary. Come and join us as we experience the meaning and power behind these words/phrases, as we worship as a community and reflect on His love.
Good Friday Community Service-- we will partner with churches in the East Brady area for worship at 7 pm at East Brady Baptist Church for worship.
Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday April 19th. It will start with breakfast with the Easter Bunny at 9:30 am. It will then have a program with puppets and an egg hunt at 10 am. This is for those in PRESCHOOL- 6th grade!
Easter Sunrise Service--join us for worship at the Kepple Farm on Holder Hill Road at 6:30 am (at the empty crosses) to celebrate the VICTORY of the RESURRECTION! If the weather doesn't permit we will move the service to the church portico.
The Forge Small Group Video Study: The world doesn't need another strategy, it needs men and women who are devoted to Jesus and committed to helping others know and follow Him through lifelong discipleship. The Forge Bible Study Book with Video Access is a five-week small group study using featured clips from the new Kendrick brothers' movie to ignite a passion for knowing Christ personally, following Him sacrificially, obeying Him willingly, and helping others become disciples of Christ. (Dates: May 12th and 27th, June 9th and 23rd, July 14th @ 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall)
2026 Parent-Confirmand Meeting--on Sunday May 4th, there will be a Parent-Confirmand meeting for those entering the 7th grade in the Fall that would be interested in joining next year’s Confirmation class. There will be a meeting in the Library following the worship service.
THE YOUTH will be leading WORSHIP on May 18th. If you would like to take part--please speak to Holly or Pastor Frank.
